    Backyard Experiments

    Not quite 100% sure what I was trying for with these. Just experimenting a little. Was leaning towards an abstract feel I guess. What do you guys/gals think?

    the selective color in #1 is good. I'd crop from the left a bit, not a lot, just a little

    Nice bokeh. (learned a new word yesterday)
    Composition is good, maybe one F stop smaller to bring the rest of your dandelion in focus.

    Good as is, great colors, lack of single focal point is fine to have this image work as a background, but any photo can be improved with the inclusion of a kitten.

    try #3 with a manual focal point of a bout 2 ft and create some more cool bokeh!

    Tried it. Didn't come out good. The layers of leaves were all too close together so it was just a fuzzy mess Might work better when I finally get around to getting a 50mm f/1.8. But f/3.5 with this lens was too soft wide open and just didn't work unfortunately.
