Baby

Not really much of a people photographer, but took some shots at a family get together a few weeks ago. Can't decide if the cut off thumb to the right detracts since it's disembodied or adds a framing element and a gentle sort of emotion.

you made a great choice on the B&W for this shot
I like the soft focus on the baby's face
Too bad the whole hand holding the head is not in the frame

given what you have , I would crop this to exclude the out of focus shoulder and the thumb, also from the bottom I'll crop to about the collar on the baby outfit
