    Ancient-looking castle in a mizzle

Don't know why but this image reminds a picture made out of an old film, what are your estimations?

I took this one in my town the same day I've posted it, BTW, "autolevels" with photoshop where adjusted and I think exactly they gave the photo ancient tone.

The only thing I dislike in this picture are those huge snowflakes on the top of view.

Nice photo.. use the clone tool in photoshop to get rid of the large snowflakes. Cheers..

This image does not really do anything for me in terms of interest, but it does not mean it is a bad shot. It sort of has an old feel to it, but I think that comes more from the fact that the subject is old and the image is soft. Those snowflakes on top can easily be cloned out

I'm with Gary on this one. I think this subject has some great potential, but this shot isn't doing it for me.

Re: Ancient-looking castle in a mizzle

The one critique I might be able to add, beside the soft focusing, is that the snow on the roof, atleast in my monitor, almost blends in with the sky, thus losing definition of the roof. This may be because of the soft focusing.

Interesting pic, but could be better,

Yes, if I had had a tripod, waterproof camera with changeable parameters and plenty of time, then yes - I would have done the photo better. Now I agree that the picture isn't rich in quality, but I posted it due to its untraditional representation. Everybody has seen castles at sunny conditions at summer time. I thought this could be interesting for you.
