    Along Pear-Blossom Highway

Coming home from taking pictures of the poppies (in this thread) we stopped along Pear-Blossom Highway, and I got this shot.

Again, all C&C welcomed and thank you for looking.

Very nice layers of color and depth. Looks like the saturation got pumped up a bit too judging from that tree in the shadows at the intersection of the upper and left thirds.

Thanks for your kind comments. Jet -- I think you're right, the "real life" shot on my computer looks okay but, as rendered here on the web, the colors have gone quite a bit overdone---:blush2: I wish sRGB was more stable and predictable.

Thanks to all for looking and commenting!

Love the distinction of the fore, mid and back ground. Nice composition.

There is something of interest in all the layers of the frame from foreground to background, plus you have really nice light.

    Nice catch.

My camera profile is set to RGB and I post process in RGB and then I print everything out. When I post pictures to the web, I convert them to sRGB. If you know a better way, I'm open for all suggestions.

Thank you so much to ALL of you for taking the time to look and comment.

My comment was that it was oversaturated too, but darn the web and its sRGB demands...

What was the original color profile you used?
