Welcome to the forums! Love the first one, very crisp, and having that bird in there is the perfect thing you need for this shot. Great shot. The second one seems too warm in colors and looks older. The color could be fixed, but your first one is certainly prime.

That first shot is stunning, Butty. There's more color and detail in the sky and reflection if you want to go after it. Here's a rather strong curves adjustment that brings it out although I think I like the cooler shot you posted is better. I like the way the eagle seems accentuated in the adjusted one. Making adjustments in your larger file could make them seem more subtle than this is.

Nice. I think the horizontal shot better captures the environment and peacefullness. The eagle adds to the photo also. Chunk's color adjustment is great- it looks like a high quality painting.

Your first picture is breathtaking. Two thumbs up! There is a great feel of space and everything fell right into place.

About the second one. I like your compostion but there are few technical issues that bug me. The picture isn't as sharp as it probably could be. There is an odd color cast. Also, the foreground looks underexposed to me (although the background is ok).
