2nd attempt with a model...what do you guys think?

After getting alot of good advice from this board I went into this shoot with a better understanding about photography in general. Here are some of the shots from this past weekend. Enjoy....I hope?

    great shots, nice focusing

i would only say on the first one that it would be nice if her head wasent chopped off on the top
the second pictures looks awsome and the colors seem just right, i like how its not too bright and not too dark

    Loose the chair

The extreme white of the chair in the full length shot takes your eye away from the model immediatly. I suggest cloning the surrounding bricks or, at least darkening the chair.

In general a good shot but please studyt everything in the frame.

I'd say that these are good shots!
Image #1- I look at this and don't think her head is "chopped off" I just see a tight crop, I like it, I've done many portraits like that before, and my clients liked it as well. I do have some " glamour" photography background and so.... The difference in her skin on her neck and shoulders versus her face does bother me.. ( alot actually)

Image #2 I didn't find the chair to be a distraction at all... My eyes first went to your model, (good strong pose, good head tilt, and foot placement!) then to the brick columns... I consider the chair to be more of a prop, that helped to create a setting for your model, not a distraction for me at **all**

    Good work!

The one on the right is very good. If you didn't have the cahir, it would be nearly perfect. The one of the left is an example of too much light/too much detail. The direct light shows to muchof th elittle wrinkles and such we all have and doesn't flatter your pretty model like the other shot. Also, the cropping/framing is awkward.

I never even noticed the chair in the 2nd one until it was pointed out. I did however notice that her belt tie loop is covering her left hand fingers. But I really like it overall.

Full body shot lighting and exposure is very good, but I noticed the chair right away and feel that although it is not a terrible distraction I think it should not be there.
I agree withClicker and LL comments on the head shot. Skin tones on face different than neck and unflattering light and detail of her skin. Also, I feel there is not light on her eyes which would help alot. Something a bit odd about the way the eyes look and I'm wondering if you had done any editing on them at all.
