Will screwmount lenses work with k20d or k7?

If the adapter dosen't look like this one don't buy it. I have a nice small set of M42 lenses and they are some of the best manual lenses out there. Pentax K mount cameras will work with any lens they ever built. Some need a inexpensive adapter but they are just fine. If you ever want to sell the lens let me know.

I have to STRONGLY disagree with this statement.

Although the Pentax adaptor is very good, other brands of adaptors work just as well. I have been using M42 lenses on my Pentax cameras for years without any problems and I dont use a Pentax brand adaptor. My adaptor has an inner flange to keep the pin pressed in on all lenses without the auto switch. This allows me to use a wide variety of M42 lenses that otherwise would have caused me headaches.

Your Tak will work fine on the K20D and K7. Just get an adaptor.
