I love my K-5, which I acquired early this year. Virtually everything about it is an improvement over my K20D, except that I find it a tad too small for my large hands. But I got used to the size, and I could affix a battery grip if I wanted. IQ is superb, and DR is also. Ditto for low noise and high ISO performance. Great camera.
