Comparison Photos between 14-42mm and 40-150mm

I have the 14-42 that came with the camera. I might be grabbing a 40-150mm in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone had any photos taken with the 2 different lenses. If not then personal experience would help alot too... thanx in advance

For my money I wouldn't go with the 40-150, I had one on the E-510, and didn't find it to be a very useful lens...I would spend a few more dollars and go with the 70-300mm. JMHO ;-)

We posted at the same time - check my post above yours - it includes some images from the 40-150.

ETA - I have this lens - and it's a fine lens. You can't beat it for the money. It does a good job. I don't have my photos uploaded so can't post.

You might consider this one - used $75 at B&H. It is rated 9+ (10 is highest rating). No tax - but you have to pay for shipping. 14 day return & 90 day warranty on used at B&H.

    Also a refurbished for $79

I would call their 800 number and ask them to hold it until Friday (used dept). Either the refurbished for $79 or the used for $75. Sometimes the lenses go fast.

Is the 40-150mm lens the best glass you can get? Nope. Is it a versatile lens in a small package for a great price? Definitely.

With this lens, it takes more practice (and a bit of patience) to get what you want. It is slow, but IMO it's good in low light.

As I mentioned in the above post with the image, I think you will get some good suggestions and advice on the Critique forum since there are more posters that are looking to help.
