Team,

I want to access the menu but cannot becuase it won't let me proceed past the first step.

When I press "OK" button, I get the choice and when i press the arrow buttons, nothing will register.

Camera now out of warranty but still in very good nick.

Please help me.

First thing I would check would be the battery? Does it take pictures at all? Remove the battery for awhile and try again. Do you think dirt or moisture could have contaminated the contacts on the buttons?

Both batteries I have a fully charged.

Yes - it does take pictures.

How can dirt/moisture contaminate buttons?

I can get up under them and cause a bad contact.
