I think you would enjoy a trip out to Stone Mountain.
Let's see how you do with framing Gen.Robert E. Lee.
Plant a tree, help it grow. Children need something to climb.
Critique any picture; any where; any time.

Thanks for your suggestion. Is there a lot of walking involved to enjoy Stone Mt. because my wife and I are having trouble with our legs and a lot of walking won't work very well, Jeff

Greg, we took your suggestion and went to the Varsity. We checked out the onion rings and I must say that is one big drive inn, and yes the rings were good. We went to the Zoo and was not impressed at all with that. Just about every enclosure had a fence, glass, or net between you and the animals which blew any chances of getting a decent picture of almost all of the animals. The Aquarium was nice and the porpoise show that required an additional ticket was very good. We also walked next door and went through the Coca Cola museum and it was nice. Gotrocks suggested Stone Mountain and it had a very good laser show that we enjoyed a lot. We also went through the Cyclorama next to the Zoo and it was good but really didn't have that much inside to see in my opinion. We also went to the Fernbank Museum and it was good also. We enjoyed our time away and will be posting a few pictures in the next couple of days. I guess the best thing that we went to would have to be the Aquarium, Jeff

Darn! I didn't see this this thread until now. But it looks like you hit some of the places I would have suggested. I would have added Little Five Points (lots of local color and graffiti), The Walter Carlos Museum at Emory (great Egyptian exhibit), The Center For Puppetry Arts( theatre and museum), & the Atlanta Botanical Gardens at Piedmont Park.
