Photo ops near Pigeon Forge Tn.

My wife and I are going to the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg Tn. area on June 15th thru 20th and are looking for photo opportunities in the area. We will be going to Dollywood and Cades Cove and are looking for more places to take pictures in the area, Jeff

There are a great deal of waterfalls in the area, both in GSMNP and in the national forests around the park.

You will be near the "Dragon Tail" where MANY opportunities exists. This is a place that many motorcyclists feel is a "mecca" for bikers to travel.

If you search it in line, you will see many sights with places to take pictures.

This actually would be a good topic for Viewfinder. It's been a few years, but Townsend TN was a very photogenic area.

I remember having dinner at a trout farm there - we ordered and a minute later someone walked out the back door with a net. Now that's fresh!

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at the Dragons Tail and from what I have read I'm not too sure about doing that one. As far as Townsend, I think we go right through there to get to Pigeon Forge. Thanks again for the information, Jeff
