    When Geese Attack

As I watched a pair of geese in the distance, a solo male landed nearby. The pair immediately approached the intruder with their heads held low to the water. Then the male (of the pair) charged the intruder.

Made for an interesting opportunity to a fairly common scene. Image quality is miserable tho. Shot with the 300mm+2x at ISO 800 with a rapidly approaching storm overhead. Most are full frame width (cropped out top and bottom.

No excuses for the last one - my manual focusing didn't keep up with the rapidly approaching males

    thanks for looking.
