Here's a HUGE timber rattlesnake found this fall, Crotalus Horridus. He was easily four feet and change, largest rattlesnake I've ever seen in the wild. First a portrait, then the in situ shot - as much as I pose my photos, sometimes it's the ones you DON'T that come out best.
