This photo with the reflection in the water makes it look like he has his mouth open at first glance. And how do you like the tail reflection? Caught this one by the side of the road this afternoon, Jeff

I didn't see the "open mouth" when I first looked at it. As for the tail, I think the reflection actually detracts - perhaps because it is only a partial reflection of the reptile.
