Another spring flower from the same trip. I rather liked the shadow!

It's so nice to finely see color again. Winters are so colorless.
    Beautiful spring time shots PL.

Nice shots Mette, it's good to see some flowers. Can't wait for the snow to be gone up here.

I love it.. makes me want to go out and work in the garden... of course I have to wait for the ground to thaw first lol. Should be out in the garden next week. Looking forward for the Snowdrop's and Crocuses to show their faces around here.

    Re: Spring snowflake

Thanks guys I'm having a hard time choosing between them too!

I really hope for my Canadian friends in here that they've soon seen the last of the snow! You guys must be pretty sick of it by now We actually had a quick shower of the stuff this afternoon - it seems every time I think winter is finally over, it wants to prove me wrong

DRAGONFLIES :7: I can hardly wait - I haven't photographed a dragonfly in 8 years now - wonder if I'll remember how to

    Re: Spring snowflake

Pink, great images, it is nice to see some colour. Where I live, the "spring snowflake" has an entirely different meaning. We got about 20 to 35 cm of "spring snowflakes" last weekend -- typical spring snowstorm. There will not be any flowers poking their heads up for at least another month or more.

    Cheers

    Re: Spring snowflake

Thanks, WG Sorry for taking so long to reply to your post - my oldest daughter had her confirmation last Sunday so I've been rather tied up with that lately...

Hope you've had your last snow by now!

    Re: Spring snowflake

Nice ones. I like the composition in #1.

The shadow in the second is really cool as well. Try cropping from the original, but more on the left instead of the right, horizontal might work too.

    Re: Spring snowflake

Thank you, Alex It was so nice getting out with the macro again! Hope spring is also looking in on you

I do have a cropped version of #2, mostly cropped from the top and a little on the left. I also have a different shot altogether that some of my friends prefer....I'll see if I can dig them out...
