well gang we went out to our local bird sanctuary for Scrub jays and ended up with this curious fellow coming by to say hello. Of course i had to throw on a quick smile
I am jealous of all the warblers you guys get to see. They stop in Fla for a few months and are gone. I've been feeding for over a decade and never seen any of these sparkly birds as i like to call them
AMAZING FIND on the brewster's warbler, though quite sad it's a 2nd generation bluewinged x goldenwinged hybrid love those ovenbirds .
major fallout saturday, my brother found 26 species of warbler on saturday by 11am in warrenville and martinsville.
I think I may have posted that Brewster's a couple years ago, at least I think it's the same bird since it was in the same place. Somebody on a bird site reported seeing Golden-winged there the day after I saw the Brewster's.

The beak color confused me, since this one is plain brown, and the ones I see in the guides are whitish with a band. I'm reading now that the band appears during breeding.
Bunch of these lately, little teeny guys-- Sanderlings?
