SPRING 2012 bird ID thread

I got another hover/diver a few weeks ago, but the picture is really bad. Identified it as a Least Tern. Black mask with white across the forehead.

do believe that's a female black throated blue warbler and a young sharp shinned? hard to say whether coopers or sharpie though from that angle.

towhee, yellow warbler? and very nice canada warbler! oh how I was hoping that was a conneticut ;-)

looks a bit dark for nashville, but the lighting is dark too.yup, that's a young tanager...oops
