Richmond, BC, Canada. It's probably just another sparrow I think.

I do believe that's a young savannah sparrow, but don't quote me.

Is this just another rock pigeon? I'm wondering why it's white primarily.

sure is. They are domesticated and are quite variable. That could be a pet that got loose too.

I looked up and saw this hawk-like bird fly by. It was an awesome sight. Too bad I didn't have time to take a shot at it. Then found it perching on a tree nearby:

This could not be a Carolina Chickadee, could it? Not in the North West, right?

broudwinged hawk I think (but could be a young redtailed hawk )
brown creeper
black capped chickadee(carolina looks the same and the integrade is actually in my back yard ;) the difference is speed of the call.
The last looks like a short billed dowitcher which is rare inland in the north west.
