Not my preferred type of wildlife, but pretty cool nonetheless.

its a great shot, the only thing i find distracting (and this is pretty nit picky) is the fact that its left antennea is pointed ditectly at us ( or retracted in) and makes it feel off balance to me. its tail fcould be in focus to but its not really distracting.
I didn't even notice those things....at first look, all I saw was an awsome shot of something I would never have thought of even taking a picture of....LOL...Great sharpness and color also....
But I am not a pro, that is for sure...but now that you have said something...where is the other antenna....LOL...strange....doesn't really look like it is straight at us....??????

I'm a bit stumped as to how to focus this one. Typically you focus on the eyes - but being offset that wide at this angle, I'm not sure where/which I'd (pun there) focus on
I guess I would place the DOF right across the shell and through the "snout" and let the eyes go out of focus on either side of that.
