    Red Headed Woodpecker

Went over to the nature center today and despite their website saying they were only closed three days a year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) they were closed today. Grrrr.

Anyway, this guy was at the bird feeder, took shots through the fence. First time I ever saw one.

Great BIF where he is taking off, but I believe it's a male Red-bellied Woodpecker. - TF

The title had me all excited. Nice photos, anyway.
