    Our State Bird

    Found about a dozen male and female cardinals. These were all shot from a blind using the 300mm with 2x teleconverter.

    Now shooting with the 30D until further notice. It's amazing how much of a difference 1.5 fps makes (between the 5 fps of the 30D verses the 6.5 fps of the 40D - I can't imagine using the 1DmkIII ) even though I typically only shoot two to three frames in a burst at most.
