Nice light falloff with that $100 fuji. I really like it.

So, is the thick tail specific to the tremper albino leopard gecko, or is it specific to the male? I have little experience with geckos, and was just wondering.

All HEALTHY leos have thick tails. That's where the fat reserve is I do believe.
(Ron)Tremper albinos are one of 3 amelanistic strains, but his are the Giants of the bunch. My 2 albinos are 8-9 inches already at under 7 months.

All my others wouldn't pose well, but my female tremper tangerine albino is way sweet looking.

I'm going for another red-stripe and a few R.A.P.T.O.R.'s next.(red eyed, tremper albino, patternless, tangerine, orange tail)

I've always liked Leopard Geckos ...but my fav lizards are still the Bearded Dragons.

I only have one now, a male I hatched in 2000 that came back as an owner give-up...had severe metabolic bone disease, from which it is just now recovering...

It's 11 grams and counting (born in november I think). It appears female(can't find pores), but time will tell.

He has shed twice in 3 weeks and changes every time slightly.

Hows this? High yellow, produced by me in 2000, sorry for the crazy jaw but he came back to me with severe nutrition problems...just now recovering fully, still drags a little when he walks because his leg bones bent as he grew

The second shot was cropped down to about 1200x1000 px, then resized - i wanted the whole eye rather than some of it, as a 100% crop would give me.

Edit: Woke up in the morning, didn't like the editing job I did last night, so re-upped same filename with different editing version - warmed the image, cropped the eye closer in the second shot. otherwise the same.

Sorry to hear about the mistreatment of this animal, but he is a real beauty nontheless. Very nice close up on the eye. Insanly beautiful..:thumbsup:
