    The eyes! The eyes, man!

Someone give me a tube and a prime and I'll shoot the eyes for ya

    Great looking subjects.

    Great looking subjects.

Hows this? High yellow, produced by me in 2000, sorry for the crazy jaw but he came back to me with severe nutrition problems...just now recovering fully, still drags a little when he walks because his leg bones bent as he grew

The second shot was cropped down to about 1200x1000 px, then resized - i wanted the whole eye rather than some of it, as a 100% crop would give me.

Edit: Woke up in the morning, didn't like the editing job I did last night, so re-upped same filename with different editing version - warmed the image, cropped the eye closer in the second shot. otherwise the same.

Sorry to hear about the mistreatment of this animal, but he is a real beauty nontheless. Very nice close up on the eye. Insanly beautiful..

Thanks, Erik! Now I've gotten my macro fix for the day

I'd call that nature's abstract beauty.
