Hello to all my friends on PR it’s been a while since I’ve posted any photos
or even taken my dSLR for a walk in the woods. Life just keeps getting in the way.
I thought retirement was suppose to be all rocking chairs and quiet, HA!
I was finely able to get out of the house for a weekend hike.
Went to the Roosevelt National Forest west of Boulder Colorado I had a very special visit to my camping spot and thought I’d share it with you.
I hope this format of a trip report is acceptable here in N&W forum.
These pictures are in no way sell-able by any stretch of the imagination but I still though you might enjoy them since most of us here love getting out into the woods with our camera’s.
Equipment used: I purchased a Canon S95 for my backpacking trips (thanks you PJ for the recommendation) where hauling the dSLR is just not practical.
I’m still learning this camera. Most photo’s were taken in Program mode since I love the focus tracking. All photos are full frame, no cropping, 1 level of sharpening.
I'll stop talking now, here’s my report.
I’m a big fan of LNT (leave no trace) as you can see I don’t even smash the grass down with a tent. lol
While enjoying a late afternoon cup of decaf coffee I had a visitor to my camp.
Oh, wait two visitors.
The sun was popping in and out from behind the clouds.
Hope you enjoyed the photo's.
thanks for looking.
