    LOL, why vermin? They couldn't be any worse than starlings... or blue-jays... blue-jays are really starting to get on my nerves.

    They take over nests of better birds by laying their egg in it and splitting. A few species do it, but cowbirds are flocking species and do alot of harm in areas. For instance for a whole square mile in my area not one woodthrush flegdes the nest, only cowbirds
