It's been a while...

since I have gone out to shoot "nature". Despite the temps being in the single digits all day, I forced myself to go out and take some nature photos. My goal was to shoot a cascading spring with some ice covered rocks but mother nature seems to have a way of distracting me sometimes.

Beautiful images, especially the last.
Here's a tip on shooting deer (that's one of my spcialities):
You rarely can get a good shot on AF. Some tree, branch or something is always in the foreground, and that's where your AF will focus, not on the animal.
