It's been a while...

since I have gone out to shoot "nature". Despite the temps being in the single digits all day, I forced myself to go out and take some nature photos. My goal was to shoot a cascading spring with some ice covered rocks but mother nature seems to have a way of distracting me sometimes. :)

Beautiful images, especially the last.
Here's a tip on shooting deer (that's one of my spcialities):
You rarely can get a good shot on AF. Some tree, branch or something is always in the foreground, and that's where your AF will focus, not on the animal.

Super shots Mike. That last one is beautiful with the colours reflecting in the steam.
