    He's burying his nuts

I caught these this afternoon through two panes of window glass. He was way out in the back yard and I only had a matter of about one minute to get these, Jeff

Fun sequence, Jeff! I like the shadowy, jumping one.

I like the leaping shot best too. Most of them seem to be out of focus. I've found I can't use AF when getting low like that, unless I want good shots of blades of grass in the foreground.

    Re: He's burying his nuts

I was walking through the living room and spotted the squirrel so I ran and grabbed my camera. Just as I took the first picture the dogs barked and he raised up .Then he jumped to the tree looked around then jumped to the ground for one last look and was gone. These were taken through a dirty double window and the squirrel was way out in the back yard. I didn't have much time to do any thinking about the pictures before taking them. To me for the conditions they came out pretty good, Jeff

Good series, and nice catch on the jump. Those little guys can really move when they want.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to take a look and leave a comment. As far as the frozen ground it was 72 degrees yesterday when I took this shot, Jeff
