    The colors of the green heron are wonderful ...

    nice composition with the log coming from the corner

    still canīt help to wonder why is it called green , certainly not the most prevalent color in the plumage ... I think

    Thanks Liz and Armando!!! There are three or four Green Herons that have been hanging around this little pond lately. I really like this shot, I did get the subject kinda in the center but I wanted the log to be included in the shot. They are called Green Herons due to the color on their backs.
