    Canon_Bob - yeah that was what I was thinking. Hence my concern that perhaps I approached too close too fast.

    polarbeardiggers - perhaps (I haven't photographed/studied too many deer). But that one snort she did was at the same instance that she bound away. A second before that we had a stare-off not knowing what the other was going to do. I'm sure my eye got real big through the lens

    Minnesota scroller - thanks! I'm planning on blowing it up real big and putting it in my family room.

    Knight - those flowers are already starting to wilt. The peak must have been about a week ago. But I sure won't complain about the shot I got


    Here's a fawn I got this afternoon from a completely different field. I managed to get off exactly 1 frame as it trotted past this one open spot in the woods. I saw another fawn with this one but did not see the mommy.
