    I don't know anything about that particular lens so I have to ask if there is a specific range where the lens excels and where it struggles.

    I see that you shot the first three here at f/16 and I would recommend trying some at f/11 to see if you see a noticeable difference due to diffraction effects that start at around f/16.

    these beautiful shots made me sad
    Sad because they remind me that Summer is gone and Winter will soon be here. I will so miss all of the flowers, colors and beautiful flying things.

    Loupey, thanks for bringing that to my attention. Normally I would have taken the first three at F 5.6 like I did the last one. I was shooting landscape shots when I looked down and spotted the flowers and then the butterfly and quickly grabbed a few shots. In doing that I just didn't think about changing settings. I will do a little research on the best aperture ranges of the lens though to get the most out of my lenses. Thanks for yours' and everyone Else's comments. I always like to improve, so anytime that any of you have an idea or suggestion that will help me get better photos please feel free to let me know, Jeff
