I've been watching that chipmunk for three weekends in a row running from his den to that tree to stuff his cheeks full of crabapples over and over. I can only imagine his den as being filled to the brim with a little tiny space for him to snuggle among them

Great shot of the Chipmunk! We don't have them in Florida so I was surprised to see that they full up their cheeks just like a Hamster.
