Stopped by in my travels today around lunch to see if the eaglets were visible. As I drove up one of the adults flew over my head with another Coot. Perfect timing to see the chicks. Definitely some crappie shots but seeing the little ones is to cool! Super windy and cloudy as the huge front approaches.
Mama still has some blood and feather on her beak!
Then the two together...Adults keep placing sticks on the top of a nest keeping play pen for the chicks! 2 more weeks they will be real big!
