    Chip and Dale

    A couple of our neighbors this weekend while staying at a state park. Nikkor 300mm f4 with the 1.4 extender.

    Nice shots, that bottom one is a super capture. Great pose and wonderful highlights in the eye.

    Thanks! On the last one he did stop and gave me plenty of time to make sure I had just what I wanted. These little critters move pretty fast and all the time.

    What kind of diet do they put them on there?

    We only have the really plump kind here

    Mostly acorns from the looks of the trees around the cottage. Remember these are country critters not those well feed city cousins. They are coming out of a long winter. Thanks for the look and the comment.

    Thanks Mike. Yeah I have to agree that #1 lacks a little DOF. One of the first a took before I adjusted to manual settings and got my aperture were I needed it.

    Larry, I work 90-100 hrs a week between my job and my business(breed reptiles). That's why I comment infrequently.
