    Boxer

Met this Florida Box Turtle crossing the road and relocated him away from danger. All that I asked of him return was that he let me take his picture...

Were you holding him/her when you took this? It's unusual for a box turtle to stay out of his/her shell like that.

    Re: Boxer

Did you truely turn it over to get the sex..... it's not hard at all in hand BTW... ALWAYS put a box turtle directly on the other side of the road. I was told that they can get lost if you relocate them and they are on a mission to get to the other side of the road , so always put them on the side they are facing.

Nice job because box turles are very leary of human contact and this one is obviously not threatened by you.
