John, I love that shot, dynamic lighting very attractive. Bristles with vibrance.

"Hey you nature nuts, I wanna see your best examples of bokeh from your nauture shots. Please include the camera and lens you used."

These were shot outside, so does that qualify for nature? And she can be wild, but I don't think I'd neccessarily call her wildlife. ;-)

    D200 with my Nikkor 80-200mm.

The first shot was taken at 80mm, f2.8.

The second shot was taken at 200mm, f2.8.

I'll post some shots taken with my 50mm f1.4 soon.

Here's one I took the other day. It's not my best example of bokeh, but it's one I have handy. Nikon D200 w/Tamron 400mm f/4 lens (set at f/5.6).

Heres a couple fairly recent ones with the 70-300 at f5.6, I'll have to put up some ones with the new 70-200 2.8 when I get a chance to get some good ones with it.

    Re: The Bokeh Challenge Thread

Welcome aboard, mcakey. Nice eagle portrait. This looks like a fun thread to have resurrected. Here is one I took this morning. It was backlit, so the subject isn't the best.
This rwbb was shot with the only lens I own, the Canon 100-400. Sorry, deleted the original because it wasn't that good, so no longer have the exif.

Nothing wrong with those, Victor! Perhaps a touch more contrast in the flower to bring out the detail, but be conservative!!

Here's an addition. pretty sure I posted this yesterday, but the play between the OOF areas and the in focus areas is my favorite part!

    Re: The Bokeh Challenge Thread

These are both a bit older, but I would say represent decent Bokeh (especially for a point at shoot)

    Both images Canon S2IS

    Humming Bird F3.5 1/60

    Flower F2.7 1/1250

I hope a flower in the wildlife section is ok in this case...
