black blobs on my photos

found the cause
39 floors up, these guys were all over the window
but I couldn't see them in the dark
so my nighttime images have strange dark out of focus spots...

Looks like a kind of mayfly, only smaller than I expected to find, and in July.
And of course not so high up above the river !

I thought he was asking what the black blob was but I guess reading your answer he was asking what the bug was. Sorry about that, Jeff
