young yellow bellied sapsucker! SWEET!!!!!! I haven't seen any around in weeks(they are migrating through), so maybe you found the one I was watching for a few days ;)
But this one is a little better. Shot it today.
This bird was on the water with the sun hitting it hard. I spot metered on the bird, but it wasn't enough. I have an idea what it might be, but could use your guidance, swami.
Also a species posted int he first ID thread, but I like this one A LOT better.
Male belted kingfisher, pied billed grebe and a white ibis ;)
Not a very good capture on my part, i should have gone in closer , but i was excited its the first time i C a Cardinal and the light was poor
They are very hard to get in my area due to being leary, so Kudos to you !
