    Airborne juncos battling

Juncos apparently aren't very friendly toward each other when it comes to birdseed. Shot this yesterday.

A cool moment there. Nice posture by the male.

The female looks like she needs to pull up

    Thanks guys.

Loupey, in case you haven't guessed already, we're dealing with quite a bit of "perspective compression". The female junco ended up passing right under the other side of the seed plate. Male junco plopped straight back down to eat some more.

All this action happened in approximately 1/2 second, probably less. "Spray & Pray" was the main shooting technique used...

Spray and Pray often gives you nothing at all but when it works it gives some great shots such as this one. Well caught Alex.
