    Question Underwater photography...

O.K., I'll be heading on a tropical vacation in a couple of months, and want to take some underwater photos. I also live in an area where I (and my family) could potentially take underwater pictures on a regular basis. Given a limited budget, (under $250.00) would it make more sense to purchase an Ewa bag for my Canon, or should I just buy one of the less-expensive underwater cameras? I'm afraid I might be disappointed with the quality of photos from an UW camera, but I'm also a bit nervous about taking my Canon underwater! (Not to mention the work involved)

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated!
