    Checked it

    Jess-
Thanks for letting me know about the problem. I just posted a test review and it worked fine. Did you try to use a $ symbol? Just put in the number. It might be a special symbol that's causing trouble.

Please try it again and write your review in Word and save it so that you don't lose it. I'm sorry for the hassle. I understand your frustration. Just consider it a favor to me - testing. I'm sure that will make you feel better :-)

You should never write a lengthy post LIVE...

Jess, I think all of us here have lost a long post due to server or site software screwups at one time or another.

Like John says, any lengthy post (such as reviews) should be written offline in a text editing program like word or notepad, then copied and pasted into the text box on this site.

Another trick when writing a long post here is to get in the habbit of clicking the "preview" button every so often. That creates a page with a "hard copy" of your post, IOW text embedded into the HTML of the page, not just in the text box.

Honestly never thought of that after losing a few long posts - but what I do is highlight the whole text, right click (for us PC-ophiles) and click "copy". Then I click submit at the bottom of the page. It either posts like it should, or I go back one page, and put the cursor in the text box. Right click again and select "paste". Then try submitting again. I know the feeling well...!
