    Photo classes in Anchorage, AK...

This question is for anyone living in Anchorage, Alaska. I am interested in finding a beginning photography class. More specifically, I would need one that would be flexible enough to fit my work schedule. I work on the North Slope oilfields, so I am out of Anchorage for two weeks every month. I've had the idea of taking a class in the back of my head for quite some time but life got in the way. Any suggestions?

There is a local pro that does classes and seminars. I found his info at Blaines art supplies a couple years ago. He would be the most flexible for your schedule i think. The continuing adult education classes are a possiblility too but more scheduled. Read books, magazines, keep coming here, keep practicing, you'll be amazed at how much you can teach yourself. I have. Of course Photoshop or any of the other programs need a little additional help I think.

    Good luck
