No image on Olympus D-380

My Olympus D-380 makes all the sounds that it's taking a picture, but nothing shows on the LCD screen. The previous pictures I had already taken can be viewed, but no new pictures can be taken. I tried reformatting the card changing the card and still nothing. Any ideas?
