    Internal Memory Full

My friend has a Sony point & shoot. I know nothing about P&S's as I only shoot DSLR and she is clueless. She keeps geting the message that the internal memeory is full and it won't let her take more pics. I formated the card but it still does it. I can't figure out how to clear the internal memory, did read manuel. Can anybody help?

First of all, welcome to our site! She needs to make sure that all the pictures that she wants to keep either on the card or internal memory are copied on to her computer. Next with the card in the camera you should be able to look at a picture and hit delete. When you do this it should give you an option to delete a picture or delete all. Deleting all will clear the card. Next it should give you the option to look at and clear the internal memory and delete it and your done, Jeff

    Re: Internal Memory Full

Internal memory has nothing to do with the card. Apparently she has taken pics without the card in and they are now stored IN her camera, she will need to hook the camera to her computer ( without the card in) to get the pics transfered, then with the card out of the camera, she will have an option to delete the internal memeory. Hope this helps, my kodak was like that too.

After reading your reply I double checked my camera and I had to remove the card to delete the internal memory also, Jeff
