Help With Brand New Minolte Dimage Z1

I just bought a brand new Dimage Z1 and opened it a few nights ago. Since it was night time, I was trying to enable the flash, but could not for my life figure out how to do it. I am no camera expert, but I consider myself a technology connoisseur so I was a bit teeved. I messed with all of the menus on all of the different dial setting but could not figure it out. There is a flash button on the camera but when I hit it, nothing happens. Please help, I do not want to have to send this camera back!

I found the manual online. It looks that you need to flip up the flash unit to activate it. Hope this helps.

When I got my Z1 it took me an hour to realize that that's all you have to do. LOL! Just seems way too simple for a digital camera, doesn't it? ;)
