It must be really transparent, because I don't see a thing.

I believe it is called the STEALTH 1600. It was used during WWII as the standard issue spy camera for the C.I.A. There is not much information available to the public due to it's TOP SECRET status. This particular camera was discontinued due to having so many lost during spy missions. If you set one down and forget the exact spot you had placed it, it may never be found again. This became a very big problem and was replaced later with a model that when you clapped your hands would send out a series of beeps so that it could be located, Jeff

Jeff, that's an amazing story. You should be a writer.

Clearly I'm outta my league here...

But seriously - the image doesn't show up. If you're having trouble posting the image, here's a guide on how to do it. If that doesn't help, either reply here or feel free to send me a private message.

Way back when I first was a member of this site, (I've been gone so long that I had to re-register because I forgot all my logging info) the way to post photos back then just drove me nuts. I couldn't figure it out. I was "Lord of the Red X" I couldn't count how many times I fouled posting a picture on the site.

That is really a nice camera. It uses no batteries, no memory card, does not even rely on a person to operate it. very cool

I still prefer the old photosniper. I am still sorry i never bought the thing. it was a screw mount practica (or pracktika clone) will a 200mm lens built onto a gunstock with a trigger for the shutter release. it mounted in what looked like a munitions case where the disasembled camera and stock bolted to the case and it also had spots to lock down extra film cannisters came with a stack of filters that were screwed into the camera and a 50mm1.8 lens. apparantly when they weren't museum pieces wildlife photographers loved them. the only thing that was missing was the position of the rewind mechanism (still on top of the camera) so you could "shoot" like a gun but had to move your hand to reload!
