    Tamaron or Sigma??

So far I have ended up with Sigma lenses in the fixed and WA zoom areas, but I'm thinking about the Digital 18-200 lenses and or the digital very WA lenses, Tamaron's 11-18 and Sigma's 10-20. Any recommendations?

    Re: Tamaron or Sigma??

I've been looking at the wide zooms for DSLR's (Nikon in particular) and think I'll stick with Nikon's 12-24. I've heard great things about Tamron's recent DI lenses but I'm not a fan of variable aperture lenses. It's also slow - even Nikon's at f4 isn't great but it's better than most. Looks like the same deal with that Sigma. At least with the Tamron, if those two points aren't going to affect you then it should be a pretty good choice.
