    about my a2..

Ok, so i shoot with an a2 and sometimes when i press the shutter button, the curtain seems like it goes down and gets stuck and i am forced to tap the button again to release it, does anyone know why this is?, i was thinking like maybe because i use the autofocus and i hit it when its focusing so it confuses it?, i dont know, or is there a bug in my camera?

    sry for my poor explanantion

that is your shutter hanging up mostlikely, BUT maybe a battery change will fix it? what mode are you in(M, AV, TV....)?

Well did you get any bad images(light leak) from it... like those from a camera with a shutter leaf out of sync?

    open the back and check

otherwise the shutter is electronic(I would think) so it could be a faulty wire/chip/bourd.

Try removing the batteries for 5-10 minutes and then putting them back in As odd as that sounds, many a camera have been fixed from a battery removal/replacement. Electronics are weird sometimes!

If all else fails.... repair may be the answer
