    4 elements of Nature

I could really use some help from you creative people! I'm in a photography class (I'm an advanced beginner) and we have to do a 20 minute slide presentation. I think I'd like to do "the 4 elements of nature". I have some ideas but I probably need 10 pictures from each element. Here is what I thought of so far. Now I just need to execute them

    Air:
    bird in flight
    butterfly in flight
my son blowing bubbles both gum and regular bubbles
I wish our hot air balloon festival was now instead of September

    Fire
    Candle
    sunset
    sunrise
    fire in fireplace

    Earth
Yoga position like standing on 1 foot (symbolizing stability)
    rock

    Water
We have a small waterfall at our local nature center (Very Small!!)
drops of water with fast shutter speed
Rain (should be easy this time of year in Michigan)

Ok, hopefully I'm on the right track!
    Thanks for the input.

    Re: 4 elements of Nature

    Air....sailboats

    Fire...burned/burning buildings
I guess you don't have any volcanoes in Michigan.
    Welding, brazing torches, jets

Earth... fields, farming scenes, spring plants breaking through, tractors plowing

Water...lakes, streams, baths, toilets, hoses, fire hydrants

Now I'll probably be thinking of other stuff all day.
    Keep Shooting!

    Re: 4 elements of Nature

Personally, I think the most interesting part of a project like this is how someone chooses to interpret what they want to shoot. So, I'm not going to make any recommendations.

At least a few years ago I used to use this website to look for things to photograph relating to aviation - it might help you find a hot air balloon festival that you can shoot for this project. I haven't looked at it in awhile (glad I remembered what it was!) but it looks like there's a lot of info on it still.

    Wow Frog,
Thanks so much for the ideas! I was overthinking things. I never thought of fields, farming....I CAN find that in Michigan.

Air - Kites, fans, children's ballon, whistles, planes

    Fire - Campfire, fireworks, matches

Like Frog, I may be thinking about this the rest of the day! I took a class similar to what you must be taking and it do make ya think!

Water - droplets on flowers, puddles, ice, steam
